As with any unexpected hiatus, an update is soon to follow. It is with a heavy heart that I share some sad news.
On July 26, 2023, my dad passed away. In the months leading up to his death, my family and I cared for him alongside hospice. He was at home and surrounded by his loved ones in his final moments.
One of the many things I will always remember about my dad is how he inspired me to draw. When my siblings and I were little, every birthday had a special poster that featured a cartoon character. Whether it was Tweety, Barney, Minnie Mouse, or whoever was the favorite at the time, my dad was the artist behind these posters.
Today is his 68th birthday, and I wanted to return all the joy and love he put in to creating those special posters. Happy Birthday, Pappy! ❤️🎉
